The Nifty closed 150 points down, forming a dark cloud cover candlestick on the daily chart. Meanwhile, the weekly chart displayed a high wave type candle, indicating potential consolidation in the near future. The short-term trend of the Nifty appears to have shifted downwards following a moderate ascent from the lows. According to Nagaraj Shetti of HDFC Securities, the immediate support rests at 22,300, and a breach below this level could prompt further declines. On the other hand, immediate resistance is observed at 22,625 levels.
