The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 227.25 points down at 24046.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 701.17 points at 79633.64 at around 10:30AM.
Titan Company Ltd.(up 3.82%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 3.37%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 3.18%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.44%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.6%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.31%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.34%), State Bank of India(up 0.13%) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 0.07%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
