{"id":7559,"date":"2024-11-01T00:09:30","date_gmt":"2024-11-01T00:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demo5.dedicatedhost247.com\/zexo\/tumblers-sold-at-wawa-stores-recalled-after-their-metal-straws-cut-customers\/"},"modified":"2024-11-01T00:09:30","modified_gmt":"2024-11-01T00:09:30","slug":"tumblers-sold-at-wawa-stores-recalled-after-their-metal-straws-cut-customers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo5.dedicatedhost247.com\/zexo\/tumblers-sold-at-wawa-stores-recalled-after-their-metal-straws-cut-customers\/","title":{"rendered":"Tumblers sold at Wawa stores recalled after their metal straws cut customers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-0\">\n<section class=\"content__body\">\n<p>About 60,000 tumblers sold at Wawa stores in eight states and the District of Columbia are being recalled after its manufacturer received four reports of laceration injuries, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\/Recalls\/2025\/HALO-Recalls-Tumblers-with-Metal-Straws-Due-to-Laceration-Hazard-Sold-Exclusively-at-Wawa-Stores\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">notice<\/a> published Thursday by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The tumblers&#8217; metal straws pose a risk of cutting consumers&#8217; hands and mouths, the notice said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The recall involves 24-ounce reusable plastic tumblers with Wawa imprinted on them and sold during the month of August for about $13 each, said Halo Branded Solutions of Sterling, Illinois, which imported the made-in-China tumblers. \u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"newsletter_signup \">\n<figure class=\"embed embed--type-newsletter-widget embed--float-none embed--size-large embed--type-iframe\" data-ads=\"{\" wordcount=\"\">\n<\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The tumblers were sold in four styles: &#8220;The Mermaid,&#8221; which is pink and green, &#8220;Island Surf,&#8221; which is blue and yellow, &#8220;Sailor Breeze,&#8221; which is tan and orange, and &#8220;The Galaxy,&#8221; which is blue and pink.
