NEW DELHI: Shares of Mallcom(India), JHS Svendgaard Retai, HPL Electric Power, KCP Sugar and SCI, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday’s trade on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 8.5 points down at 24315.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as SecUR Credentials, JP Associates, Praxis Home Retail, Sarthak Metals and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, BPCL, Coal India Ltd, ITC and Tata Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Consumer, Bajaj Finance, M&M, Divis Labs and NTPC ended in the red. The BSE Sensex closed 27.43 points down at 79897.34. Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in sectors during the day.
